Matar/Soybean Paneer

Matar Paneer is a popular vegetarian dish from the Indian sub continent made with green peas and cottage cheese. The other day I had just started cooking the paneer when I realized there was only a little green peas in my freezer. While scanning the freezer contents, I chanced upon a bag of green soybeans and decided on trying the dish with this variation. It turned out to be a smash hit on the taste buds! Like I have said earlier, search for ingredients you have at home and tweak your recipes to your own likings.
